During my personal training session there is no one else in the gym with us. You can be guaranteed to be working out alone.
This is very unique on the Island. Most Personal Trainers work within a community gym setting.
I specialise in weight lifting. Specifically introductions to power lifting. Power Lifting is a variation of Olympic weight lifting. This type of weightlifting is not just for men or for competition. it is essential for Fat loss, improves strength, It provides better skeletal health, especially in women who had an enhanced risk of Osteoarthritis later in age. You will become less susceptible to injuries from instability and mobility later in life. It will prevent you from becoming frail as you age. It increases athletic ability, build all over muscle mass and improves posture. It has also been suggested that it slows down the aging process.
Weight lifting gives you a higher metabolic rate. The more muscle mass that you can accumulate the more calories the body burns and you become far more efficient at burning fat.
